Professor of Economics - Brown University

Loury is the Merton P. Stoltz Professor of the Social Sciences and Professor of Economics at Brown University. He has published extensively on applied microeconomic theory, game theory, industrial organization, natural resource economics, and the economics of race and inequality. Loury hosts The Glenn Show with John McWhorter, often addressing questions of race and education.

Yeonmi Park

North Korean Defector

Born in North Korea, Park grew up in a punishing society devoted to the worship of Kim Jong-Il. At the age of 13, she and her family made a daring escape to China in search of freedom. Park and her mother endured severe hardships, including human trafficking. In 2009, they crossed the Gobi Desert to Mongolia, ultimately finding freedom in South Korea. Park recounts her story in her memoir In Order to Live: A North Korean Girl’s Journey to Freedom.

Jeffery Rosen

President and CEO - National Constitution Center

Rosen is the president and CEO of the National Constitution Center, where he hosts “We the People,” a weekly podcast of constitutional debate. He is also a professor of law at George Washington University and a contributing editor of The Atlantic. Rosen’s new book, The Pursuit of Happiness, explores how classical writers on virtue inspired the lives of the Founders and defined America.

Charles C.W. Cooke

Senior Writer - National Review

Cooke is a Senior Writer at National Review and host of the Charles C.W. Cooke Podcast. He is the author of The Conservatarian Manifesto and has contributed to The New York Times, The Washington Post, and The Los Angeles Times. Cooke, a principled conservative, moved to the U.S. in 2011 and became a citizen in 2018.

Alexander Tsesis

D’Alemberte Chair, Constitutional Law - Florida State University

Tsesis holds the D’Alemberte Chair in Constitutional Law at FSU and is the general editor for prominent legal series. His work spans constitutional law, civil rights, and free speech theory.

Beth Akers

Resident Fellow - American Enterprise Institute

Akers is a Resident Fellow at AEI focusing on labor economics and higher education. Previously, she was a fellow at the Manhattan Institute and Brookings Institution and served as a staff economist under President George W. Bush. She co-authored Game of Loans: The Rhetoric and Reality of Student Debt.
