Conscience Liberty Fellows

Conscience Liberty Fellows Program

The Conscience Liberty Fellows Program is designed to cultivate a new generation of student leaders who understand, champion, and model the principles of free expression. Fellows will have opportunities to engage with faculty, students, and campus leaders, while helping FSU build a culture where every idea can be discussed—and challenged—and where every person is treated with dignity.

Fellows will:

  • Participate in the IGC First Amendment Undergraduate Colloquium on October 10th, 2026
  • Attend at least five IGC-affiliated events throughout the academic year
  • Organize one student-led project that reinforces free speech on campus. This could include hosting a campus event, collaborating with a student organization, or reviewing student-organization bylaws for First Amendment compliance.
  • Participate in the Agree to Disagree program in Spring 2027.
  • Complete a 1,500-word reflection essay at the conclusion of the program, reflecting on the Fellow experience and what they have learned.
